01How much does a plasterer cost in the New Forest?

02Can you skim over Artex?
Yes — Artex ceilings and walls are one of the most common jobs. Old Artex is either skimmed over or taken back, leaving a flat, modern surface ready for paint.
03Do you take on small plastering jobs?
Yes. Patch repairs, cracks, chases after rewiring and single walls are all welcome — small jobs get the same finish as full renovations.
04How long does fresh plaster take to dry before painting?
Typically around a week for a skim coat, longer in cold or damp conditions — fresh plaster turns from dark to a pale pink when dry. Always start with a watered-down mist coat before painting.
05Do you do external rendering?
Yes — smooth, weather-tight render on new builds, extensions and tired elevations, finished flat and ready for masonry paint.
06Do you offer polished or decorative plaster finishes?
